Coord-Operations SCM ALG at Beacon Health System – Allegan, Michigan

Responsible for daily operations for supply and inventory control. Investigates, troubleshoots and resolves inventory issues/problems.

Responsibilities:

• Performs audit and logistical duties for supply and inventory control.
• Responsible for inventory levels and financial variance.
• Executes product conversions within the enterprise resource planning system. Maintains item attributes in the ERP system.
• Supports distribution and daily supply operations to ensure no disruptions occur that will negatively impact patient care.
• Ensures stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practice.
• Effectively executes national standard consignment process and maintains vendor-consigned inventories.
• Manages vendor adherence to established practices; examples include regularly-scheduled inventory review, payment practices, or contract adherence. May maintain contract addendums.
• Identifies process improvements and drives implementation with manager approval.

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required at start date. Additional training beyond High School (e.g. CSCP, LEAN, Six Sigma certification, bachelors degree) preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years previous experience working with any of the following: shipping, receiving, picking, logistics, distribution, purchasing, warehousing, inventory management, contracting, vendor management.
