Registered Dental Hygienist at Fidalgo Island Dental - Anacortes – Anacortes, Washington

We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of healthcare providers! You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. $67+ hourly DOE

• Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants
• Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified
• Make patients feel at ease and taken care of before, during, and after the appointment
• Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation

• Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued
• Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located
• At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
• In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
• Certified to perform CPR
