Logistics Clerk in Bloomingdale, Illinois at FIC America Corp.

FIC America Corp. is a global Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are actively seeking a Logistics Clerk, ideally with sit down forklift experience.

Job Description

• Maintain and produce documentation to prepare products for shipment
• Prepare and print shipping labels and skid labels, using Kanban System
• Coordinate with truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries and receipt of bill of ladings
• Maintain and prepare documents, such as pick lists, bills, and labels, using FIC and Toyota databases
• Produce copies and electronic back-ups of documentation
• Store documentation in proper locations
• Communicate with truck companies to resolve shipping issues
• Follow standard work instructions
• Perform other duties assigned

Other Job Functions

• Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
• Comply with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
• Perform 5-S activities

• 2+ years of administrative experience, ideally in a warehouse environment
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• ERP experience is preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
• Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier is preferred
• Ideal candidate will have sit down forklift experience but is not required

Pay Range $20/hour - $22/hour based on qualifications and experience
