Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, experienced neurodiagnostic technician to join our growing team in a leadership role with active technologist responsibilities. Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Perform real-time neuromonitoring during complex surgical procedures, including craniotomies, spine, ENT, and vascular cases
- Operate and troubleshoot IONM equipment
- Recognize and respond to critical changes in neurophysiological data
- Communicate clearly with surgical and anesthesia teams during procedures
- Document case findings thoroughly and in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with supervising neurologists (remote or in-person)
- Mentor junior technologists as needed
Qualifications
- CNIM certification (preferred) or eligibility required
- 2+ years of experience performing IONM independently
- Demonstrated experience monitoring craniotomy procedures
- Strong communication, decision-making, and case management skills
- Ability to adapt to different surgeons, workflows, and hospital environments
- Willingness to participate in early-morning or occasional after-hours cases
