Job Title: Field Builder

Location: Midwest Region (Travel Required)
Reports To: Project Superintendent / Field Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Field Builder plays a hands-on role in the construction of high-quality sports facilities across the Midwest region. This position supports field operations by assisting with site preparation, installation, grading, and general construction tasks while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with general construction activities including underground utility installation, stone base installation, grading support, and manual labor.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Operate automated GPS and laser-guided heavy equipment.
Support grade checking and assist with basic project layout as directed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.
Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work collaboratively with site supervisors, foremen, and other field personnel to support project success.
Travel regularly to multiple project sites as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by supporting efficient and safe construction practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in construction or a related field required.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly for project assignments.
Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual labor for extended periods.

Preferred Skills

Experience operating heavy equipment is strongly preferred.
Basic math and measurement skills.
