Responsibilities

As a Product Manager 2, you will lead the engagement with the customer for development and implementation of next-gen software-product solutions and initiatives known for their robust innovative capabilities and ease of use. You will provide overall program management, define and track clear joint project timelines with the customer, convey release timelines, notes, goals, and approve developed functionality.

You must have the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of business leaders and technologists both internal and external; with high frequency engagement with other product managers, experience designers, tech leads and engineers, architects, and customer success reps.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep knowledge of the Mitchell products and systems in your core product group to intake and communicate effectively about our products and services.
  • Participate in an Agile development environment as a member of a Scrum Team.
  • Engage with the customer to understand the problem for which they are solving.
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and unmet user needs.
  • Maintain clear documentation on all customer requests and workflows.
  • Facilitate cross functional discussions with impacted stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on product requirements and expected deliverables with external partners and internal partners across the organization to ensure customer value is being delivered.
  • Track deliverables and expected capacity across teams to ensure we are meeting contractual requirements.
  • Find and leverage opportunities to share knowledge about the solution you represent.
  • Do whatever else it takes to make your solution successful with a strong sense of accountability.


Qualifications

  • Required 3+ years in product or project management.
  • Education: A bachelor degree and/or project management certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Collision Repair, MSO industry, or related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with TFS/ADO Boards is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt proactively to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment.
  • Desire to excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional, team-based environment.
  • Confident presenting to customers and Senior Leadership Teams.
  • Keen focus on developing and maintaining team culture.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Agile software development methodology experience is a plus.
  • Experience with market research and identifying business development opportunities.
