Cash Applications Analyst

Reports to: Business Unit Controller

Classification: Full – Time, in office

Position Summary:

The Cash Applications Specialist is responsible for all accounts receivable administrative functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile incoming cash payments, checks, and electronic transfers.
• Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
• Perform periodic audits of the general ledger and company financial documents.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders regarding customer-related inquiries and concerns.
• Manage customer relations and build effective partnerships.
• Partner with Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
• Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation.
• Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.

Education/Experience:

• 2-3 years of AR or Cash Applications experience

Great Plains Dynamics (preferred but not required
