Job Description

Job Overview:

The Clinical Technician performs a variety of clinical tasks under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse; adhering to established hospital standards and policies.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • One (1) year of Nurse Aide/Assistant experience or satisfactory completion of an Aide training program
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association only
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Preferred:

  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a phlebotomist or EKG Technician with health care background

Certifications and Licenses:

  • BLS certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Nights 11:00PM - 7:00AM
  • Every other weekend required, schedule during the week varies based on department needs
  • Part-Time (15 hrs)
  • Mandatory Orientation
