About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Painter - Shop to join our team. As a Painter - Shop, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paint, and applying paint to various structures and equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standard. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to meet project deadlines. Your work will contribute to the overall success of our company.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a painter in a shop setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial painting
- Experience with mixing and matching paint colors
- Experience with spray guns and other painting equipment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes
- Mix paint to achieve desired color and texture
- Apply paint to various structures and equipment using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and meets project deadlines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively
