Looking to serve Jesus this summer, but not sure how? Join us at Ridgecrest! The Ridgecrest Summer Staff program is designed to give young adults hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. We offer free housing, meals and paid positions for our summer team. Summer Staff can expect to work hard, have fun, and grow in their relationship with Jesus!
Job Summary
Love coffee, burgers, or ice cream? Spend your summer serving guests in a fun, fast-paced environment! At Clouds Coffee Shop, you'll whip up lattes and frappes while connecting with guests in our retail space. Over at Nibble Nook, you'll serve classic grill fare like burgers and fries, as well as ice cream treats. It's the perfect role for anyone who enjoys interacting with people and serving up smiles!
Essential Job Duties
- Quick Service / Fast Food Work, Full Service Coffee Shop, Cooking/Food preparation, Dishes, cleaning/sanitization of work areas
- Must be familiar with Ridgecrest's menu & how to accommodate for dietary restrictions
- Must be able to work around food for the entire shift
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment (quick service food)
- Must be able to interact positively with guests
- Must be willing to work early morning or late night shifts
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive motions (crouching, dipping ice cream, reaching)
- Ability to read food safety labels
- Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time
- Ability to work in environmental factors such as heat, noise, wet floors, and temperature changes
