Avera is currently seeking a Physician Assistant looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The Physician Assistant is accountable for provision of health care, medical management and education of patients in collaboration with a physician.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program preferred.

Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations

• Required upon hire:
  • State of Minnesota Physician Assistant license
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification through the Minnesota Board of Nursing
  • Federal and State Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA)

Work Schedule

• Day/Evening Shifts: 10:00am-10:30pm; PRN, varied shifts as needed
  • Occasional weekend
  • Occasional holiday
