Job Summary

• The Patient Care Technician is responsible to assist OR nursing/Surgical Technologists, and CSPD staff in providing patient care and non patient care duties in their assigned areas.
• Responsible for providing assistance in the Main OR. Perform a variety of duties to include; transport: transports patients from various parts of the hospital to the surgery area.
• Assists with the transferring and positioning of patients within the O.R.
• OR Room Turnover: Cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas in the operating room to maintain an aseptic environment and to prevent healthcare-associated infection, using standard cleaning procedures and chemicals through the daily cleaning and preparation of operating rooms between cases.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous experience in the medical field such as a CNA/Patient Care technician or surgical processing is preferred.
• On the job training provided.
• This position requires you to be 16 years of age or older.

Work Schedule

• Varied Shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:30am- 5:00pm

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
