About This Position
CPLC is excited to announce we've been awarded a new grant to start the first Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) in the state of Arizona! We are honored to be one of only two organizations in Arizona given this great opportunity to build a dedicated program that provides assertive outreach, case management, therapy, psychological testing, psychiatric care, and medication management to children and adults who have been the victims of crime.

OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Quality Management Director of Integrated Health & Human Services (IHHS), the Quality Improvement Specialist will contribute to providing maintenance of systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform with internal and external regulatory entities guidelines.
SPECIALIZATIONS
- Must have demonstrated skills and abilities in a quality improvement/ management capacity relevant to outpatient behavioral health services
- Strong understanding of behavioral health services continuum of care
- Must demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to cultural issues and community practices of low income and at-risk families, including dual language speakers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education/Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field or any combination of education, training or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform job duties
- Have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in managed care quality management in healthcare related field preferred
- We will consider Bachelors/Masters with 2-3 years' experience that clearly demonstrates success in auditing, reporting, data, compliance, quality assurance/improvement, process improvement in non-profit mental health.
Other Requirements
- Must have a working knowledge of quality improvement processes including audits and performance improvement plans and root cause analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of general mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and serious mental illness
- Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under automobile insurance policy
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed program requirements
- Have excellent typing and computer skills and experience with various software systems like Microsoft Office, as well as electronic medical record systems
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have good organization and time management skills
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR, and First Aid certificates
Schedule and Job Requirements: This position is field-based, requiring meeting clients as needed in the community or in their homes.
