Position Overview:
This full-time role focuses on providing excellent customer service at our meat counter. While no butchering is required, the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of meat cuts, cooking techniques, and product handling. You’ll help customers make informed choices, maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure the meat counter is visually appealing and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with meat selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations on cuts and preparations.

• Maintain an attractive and clean meat case with proper signage and product rotation.

• Weigh, package, and label meat products accurately and efficiently.

• Answer questions about sourcing, quality, and cooking methods.

• Ensure product quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards.

• Collaborate with the kitchen and prepared foods team on cross-functional needs.

• Maintain proper sanitation and follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience working at a meat counter or in a similar retail food environment preferred.

• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, cooking techniques, and food safety.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

• Open availability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
