3D was founded in 2002 as a marketer and logistics provider sourcing specialty, value-added pet food ingredients. Today, we are the leading manufacturer of protein ingredients used to make premium pet food.

A division of 3D Corporate Solutions, our SC Pet Solutions, LLC plant is located in Ward, SC. We are currently seeking (1) Shift Supervisor with strong a strong leadership and mechanical background with the below qualifications. The schedule will be working night shift (6pm-6am) as follows: D SHIFT -TH, FRI, SAT and every other WED 6 PM to 6 AM.

SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Summary:
The shift supervisor is responsible for leading a group of employees on a single shift to ensure that production goals are met in accordance with quality and customer specifications. This position's role is to effectively and efficiently communicate, supervise, and prioritize all activities and production on that shift. This position is salaried, exempt.

Primary Functions:

• Monitor the safety and productivity of personnel in production, shipping, and QA on the shift

• Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, supervision, and management

• Monitor raw materials and ensure products are within customer specification

• Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, supervision, and management

• Identify personnel related issues, including conflicts, misconduct, and accidents/injuries. Communicate with management to address the matter.

• Ensure personnel are following all GMP’s and company safety policies

• Provide backup support to all departments as needed

• Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and shifts

• Ability to work as a member of a cross functional team

• Ability to develop associates by working closely in training of company processes and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • 3 Years Employee Management is required.
  • Pet food industry experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of product requirements and customer specifications
  • Understanding of plant policies and procedures
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Possess in depth understanding of Productions, Shipping, and QA roles!
