Longwood Gardens is seeking seasonal, experienced Contact Center Representatives (Guest Admissions Representatives) to assist in our very busy contact center for the holiday season. The work schedule varies and requires working a minimum of four shifts per week including weekends, nights, and some holidays during the seasonal employment period. Contact Center hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm leading up to November 20, 2026. From November 20 through January 10, 2027, our contact center is open from 10:00am to 7:00pm daily.
The seasonal employment period for this role is September 28, 2026 to January 10, 2027.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and hospitality skills
- A clear, welcoming voice with strong verbal communication skills (additional languages a plus!)
- A minimum of 6 months of successful contact center experience
- Strong computer skills, with experience handling multiple applications at once
- The ability to perform job duties in a small, enclosed workspace without windows during scheduled shifts, with regular breaks provided
While not required, experience with Gateway Galaxy admissions software and/or the 8x8 Contact Center software application is preferred. Our contact center stations have a dual-monitor setup; some stations offer the ability to sit or stand, while other require sitting for the entire shift. In-person training will be provided on Longwood Gardens policies and offerings, in addition to printed and digital/online reference materials.
