The Senior Clinical Guidelines Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for clinical guideline development programs. This role serves as a key coordinator between physicians, committees, internal stakeholders, and external partners while ensuring processes, documentation, and communications are managed effectively.
- Partner with physicians, healthcare professionals, and collaborating organizations to schedule meetings, coordinate calls, manage calendars, and complete program-related tasks.
- Support committee and program management activities, including establishing priorities, coordinating assignments, maintaining member information, and facilitating communications.
- Organize and manage program workflows, ensuring initiatives progress according to established processes and timelines.
- Prepare, review, edit, and format documents to ensure alignment with program standards, methodological requirements, and publication guidelines.
- Create document drafts, templates, and consolidated versions for committee review and approval processes.
- Support publications, educational resources, and website-related activities connected to clinical guideline dissemination.
- Track meeting notes, action items, deadlines, and follow-up activities with accuracy and consistency.
- Provide administrative support to committees, working groups, and leadership teams as needed.
- Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
The ideal candidate is an experienced administrative professional with strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting complex projects in healthcare, association, or clinical environments. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 7+ years of related professional experience.
- Experience supporting healthcare, clinical, nonprofit, or association-based programs is highly valued.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and document management systems.
- Experience editing, formatting, and preparing professional documents for review and publication.
- Ability to coordinate meetings, manage schedules, track deliverables, and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with physicians, stakeholders, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical, proofreading, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is preferred.
- Experience with literature support, data extraction, Adobe Acrobat, and advanced document formatting is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely with strong time management skills and availability during East Coast business hours.
- Competitive hourly compensation range of $29.00–$39.00/hour.
