Production Supervisor in Sebring, Florida at Spring Valley

From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Our Sebring, FL plant is eagerly seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and direct all production and warehouse employees.
• Monitor all plant operations meet all applicable standards and regulations for safety, environmental control and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all work processes are documented and compliant with SOP’s.
• · Tracks and monitors production reliability, quality and cost results. Communicates the results in an effective manner to all associates and management team.
• Executes work process improvements including equipment, systems, and work processes that deliver target safety, product quality and reliability.
• Leads the development of associate’s skill development, executes the training and qualification process, documents the training.
• Completes necessary paperwork every shift to necessitate accurate inventory and production reporting.
• Manage equipment cleanout operations, handling of hazardous waste during generation, storage and shipment.
• Assist with creating and maintaining a culture that provides exceptional customer service.
• Oversee safe use of equipment and request maintenance as needed.
• Perform verification of production output according to procedures.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of employees.
• Counsel employees as needed.

Pay & Perks:

• $50,000 - $65,000 annually

Successful team members will have:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to handle multiple projects and prioritize
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and Regulatory compliance
• Ability to work variable hours
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
