Personal Support Worker (PSW) | Home Care, Mississauga in Mississauga, Ontario at C-Care Health Services

We are looking for a Personal Support Workers (PSW) who is interested and qualified to work with a client in a home setting located in Mississauga. Full-time position is available.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Assist with the client's personal care including but not limited to overall daily hygiene, grooming, dressing, etc.
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintenance.
• Provide feeding and meal support through meal preparation, ensuring proper nutrition, and monitoring any dietary restrictions.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to the client through social engagement and encouragement.
• Monitor changes in behavior, health, and overall well-being.

Minimum Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) diploma from an accredited institution
• NACC certificate if credentials were obtained from a private career college
• Has a valid First Aid and CPR certificate
• Has the basic skills and knowledge in caregiving such as personal care techniques, infection control, and basic medical terms
• Good verbal communication skills
