This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, RFI & Content Specialization based in India.

This role is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of RFI responses, content management, and proposal operations within a global business environment.
The position plays a key role in improving the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of business development materials that support organizational growth.
You will oversee content governance, optimize knowledge management practices, and ensure teams have access to reliable and impactful resources.
The role combines people leadership, operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and process transformation.
You will partner with cross-functional experts to deliver high-quality documentation while driving scalable improvements across workflows and systems.

Accountabilities:

The Manager, RFI & Content Specialization will lead the development and optimization of proposal-related processes, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency across all deliverables. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and operational expertise to support business objectives and improve content management capabilities.

  • Lead the RFI and content management function, ensuring accurate, strategic, and high-quality responses and documentation.
  • Manage content libraries, governance processes, and content management platforms to improve accessibility, accuracy, and usability.
  • Oversee proposal management tools and continuously enhance workflows, systems, and user experiences.
  • Support the preparation of RFIs, proposals, questionnaires, and business development materials in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements that increase delivery speed, consistency, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Ensure documentation remains current, compliant, aligned with business objectives, and reflective of organizational priorities.
  • Build strong partnerships with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to improve knowledge sharing and content quality.
  • Participate in product and operational readiness discussions, ensuring content requirements are effectively addressed.
  • Lead transformation initiatives, strategic projects, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Manage, mentor, coach, and develop team members while supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and career growth.
  • Allocate team resources effectively, balance workloads, and monitor performance against operational goals.
  • Establish standardized processes and documentation practices across proposal and business support functions.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in proposal management, content operations, business development support, and team leadership. This role requires experience working in complex environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational improvements.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, clinical research, CRO, or related industries.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in RFI management, content management, proposal operations, commercial operations, project management, or similar functions.
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing direct reports, and developing high-performing professionals.
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and supporting employee development.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal and content management platforms such as Qvidian, Responsive, or similar solutions.
  • Strong understanding of content libraries, knowledge management practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical, pharmaceutical, and business development terminology and processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and evolving environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and implementing operational improvements.
  • Ability to work remotely from India while meeting local employment requirements.
