Job Description

Workday Business Solutions Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Business Solutions Analyst based in United States.

This role sits within a People Technology team and offers the opportunity to lead systems-driven initiatives that improve how HR and talent processes operate. The Workday Business Solutions Analyst will own projects end-to-end, translating business needs into clear technical requirements and practical technology solutions. While Workday is the core platform, the role will also support a broader People Technology ecosystem, including talent acquisition and other HR systems. You’ll work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive adoption. The position combines project leadership, business analysis, systems support, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication. It is ideal for a systems-minded professional who enjoys turning complex business needs into reliable, user-focused solutions.

Accountabilities:
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other stakeholders to understand current processes, identify needs, and translate business requirements into clear, precise, and testable technical specifications.
  • Own defined projects across the full lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and closure.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the People Technology ecosystem, including Workday, Greenhouse, and other HR platforms.
  • Act as a key technology partner to stakeholder groups, particularly Talent Acquisition and People teams, helping translate operational challenges into effective system solutions.
  • Build and maintain test scripts with clear requirements traceability to support accurate and reliable system changes.
  • Create concise, user-focused documentation, guides, and launch materials that help teams understand and adopt new processes and solutions.
  • Deliver clear status updates and launch communications covering project progress, decisions, risks, milestones, and expected impacts.
  • Provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting support across the People Technology stack when needed.
  • Ensure systems and processes are implemented with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, auditability, and user experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, workflows, and overall effectiveness across the People Technology environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Systems Analyst, HRIS, People Technology, or People Technology Project Management role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday and a thorough understanding of its functionality as an advanced user.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to create comprehensive, precise, and user-friendly technical and process documentation efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering capabilities, including the ability to convert business needs into clear and testable technical requirements.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to independently manage initiatives across multiple stages and stakeholders.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving systems issues.
  • Experience with other HR technology platforms, particularly Greenhouse or other talent acquisition systems, is a plus.
  • Workday configuration experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, auditable systems and processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate decisions clearly, and drive adoption across stakeholder groups.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Benefits:

  • Base salary range of $88,000–$138,000 USD for applicable roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
  • Additional bonus and equity opportunities.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits package.
  • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Market-based compensation determined by role, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
  • Opportunity to work across a broad People Technology ecosystem, with Workday as the core platform.
  • Cross-functional exposure to HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other business teams.
  • Opportunity to lead meaningful systems and process improvements that directly support employee and organizational experiences.
  • Collaborative environment focused on ownership, innovation, continuous learning, and delivering lasting value.
