PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with referring medical clinics, physicians, insurance adjusters, and patients.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support physicians in the delivery of patient care.
Obtain authorizations for treatment.
Obtain medical records.
Verify patient information, obtain patient history, and confirm current condition.
Coordinate patient care with the scheduler.
Arrange patient transportation.
Counsel patients regarding physician orders.
Update and verify patient information in the EMR system.
Follow up on medical appointments, authorizations, and requests for medical records.
Provide support to coworkers as needed.
Be cross-trained to provide backup support to coworkers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate.
Strong writing skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
