• Prior auto claims experience
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on business demands
• Commitment to no planned time off during the first 60 days of employment

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our growing Claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with claims experience who are looking to expand their knowledge and build a successful career in Bodily Injury claims.

In this role, you'll receive hands-on training while partnering with experienced leaders and adjusters to develop the technical, investigative, and negotiation skills needed to effectively manage bodily injury claims.

What You'll Learn During Training

• Investigate bodily injury and uninsured motorist bodily injury claims
• Review police reports, medical records, and claimant statements
• Develop an understanding of liability and coverage analysis
• Learn medical terminology and injury evaluation techniques
• Gain exposure to claim negotiations and settlement strategies
• Understand regulatory requirements and claims best practices
• Build strong documentation and claim management skills
• Learn how to evaluate and resolve early bodily injury settlements

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of bodily injury claims by gathering and reviewing relevant documentation
• Evaluate claim facts, policy coverage, and liability exposure
• Communicate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and other involved parties
• Review and analyze medical records and billing documentation
• Maintain accurate and timely claim file documentation
• Assist in evaluating damages and determining appropriate settlement values
• Comply with company procedures, state regulations, and claims handling guidelines
• Monitor demand deadlines and ensure timely claim resolution
• Collaborate with supervisors and leadership on claim evaluations and settlement recommendations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance industry experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of frontline claims handling experience
• Prior auto claims experience required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and apply medical and legal concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation and customer service abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Fast-paced, paperless, technology-driven work environment.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Occasional travel for Small Claims Court appearances may be required.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Frequent use of a computer, phone, and claims management software.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and team members.
• Occasional standing, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to review detailed documents and medical records with close attention to detail.
