Senior Product Designer in Brazil at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in Brazil.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will help reimagine complex financial and mortgage workflows through intuitive, scalable digital experiences. You will work across the full product design lifecycle, from discovery and interaction design through visual execution and delivery. Your work will simplify traditionally manual and complex lending processes while creating greater transparency and ease for users. You will partner closely with product teams and engineers to shape strategy, align stakeholders, and turn ambiguous problems into meaningful solutions. The role offers a hands-on environment where strong design craft, systems thinking, and rapid execution are highly valued. You will also use AI-powered tools to accelerate research, exploration, and delivery while continuously evolving your design approach.

• Design user experiences that improve how lending institutions manage and process loan applications, making complex workflows simpler and more intuitive.
• Lead product design initiatives from discovery through delivery, establishing UX strategy, vision, and direction in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and design discussions that create alignment around user problems, opportunities, and solutions.
• Develop scalable design foundations, interaction patterns, and components that can support diverse customer needs and multiple loan application offerings.
• Re-envision internal processes involved in loan origination and home transactions, transforming manual and antiquated workflows into streamlined digital experiences.
• Apply strong visual and interaction design practices while maintaining consistency across responsive experiences and design systems.
• Elevate design quality across the team by sharing expertise, inspiring strong craft, and helping others work toward a clear product vision.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully throughout research, ideation, exploration, and delivery to increase design speed and effectiveness.

• At least 5 years of full-time product design experience, supported by a portfolio demonstrating a high level of design quality.
• Fluent English, with confidence working in a fully English-speaking, US client-facing environment.
• Strong experience with Figma, interaction design, responsive design, and design systems.
• Proven ability to facilitate strategic discussions and working sessions with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong strategic and execution skills, with the ability to move from problem definition and exploration to polished, production-ready solutions efficiently.
• An AI-forward mindset, with hands-on use of AI tools to enhance design research, exploration, and delivery.
• Ability to ramp up quickly, work across multiple teams or problem spaces, and maintain momentum in fast-changing environments.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and making informed progress without requiring a fully defined brief.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present and defend design decisions to distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Systems-thinking approach and a strong interest in transforming complex, manual processes into streamlined digital experiences.
• Basic understanding of mortgage terminology and lending principles is a plus.
