Bar Tender - must have experience making cocktails in Braybrook, Victoria at Happy Camper Pizza

Campground Kitchen is looking for an experienced Bartender to help lead our bar, keep the cocktail game strong and the good vibes flowing.

We’re looking for someone who already knows their way around a bar and is ready for a little more ownership - with the opportunity to grow into a Bar Manager role for the right person.

Our current Bar Manager, Amber, is unfortunately heading back to the UK after nearly 2 years at Campground Kitchen!

We are open to a job share if we can find two strong bar tenders who require flexible hours. We just want great staff who love working in our venue as much as we do!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Taking the lead behind the bar and keeping service running smoothly

• Making sure cocktails and drinks are consistent, quick and looking delicious

• Supporting and training bar backs and FOH crew

• Prepping syrups, infusions, garnishes and all the fun stuff that keeps our cocktail menu ticking

• Keeping the bar stocked, clean, organised and ready to roll

• Helping with stocktakes, accepting deliveries and general bar organisation

• Close and cleanup bar after service

• Working closely with management to keep improving the bar and how we do things

• Solid bartending experience and strong cocktail knowledge

• Someone confident taking the lead when things get busy

• Organised and quick on your feet

• A laid-back attitude with sharp attention to detail

• Someone who enjoys learning and being part of a team

• A bit of creativity - if playing around with flavours and dreaming up new drinks sounds fun, even better

• Previous supervisory experience is a bonus, but not essential if you’re an experienced bartender ready to step up

• Valid Victorian RSA

• Evening and weekend availability

• Working closely with the kitchen, FOH and management team

• Some reliable, practical and happy to get stuck in

Where It Can Go

We’re not expecting you to walk in on day one and take over the entire bar.

You’ll work alongside management while you learn Campground, our systems and how we do things. As you settle in and build trust, there’s a genuine opportunity to progress into Bar Manager, with more responsibility across stock and ordering, training, menu development and the overall running of the bar.
