HR Assistant (Entry Level)

Location: Pharr, TX (on-site)

Employment type: Full-time

We are looking for an organized, people-oriented HR Assistant to be the on-site HR point of contact for our Pharr location. This is an entry-level role with hands-on training. You will learn from our on-site team and work closely with our People & Talent team to support employees from their first day onward.

- Be the first in-person point of contact for employee HR questions at the Pharr site

- Support new hire onboarding: paperwork, I-9 verification, orientation, and first-day setup

- Enter and update employee information in Rippling (our HRIS)

- Help track attendance and time-off requests, and follow up on timekeeping issues

- Help with recruiting: post jobs, screen applicants, schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers

- Keep personnel files organized, accurate, and confidential

- Post and maintain required workplace notices and support safety and compliance paperwork

- Help coordinate employee communications, trainings, and on-site events

- Escalate employee relations concerns to the People & Talent Manager

What We Are Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in HR, business or a related field is a plus

- 0–2 years of experience in HR, administration, front desk or customer service

- Bilingual English/Spanish (spoken and written) required

- Strong organization and attention to detail

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Comfortable with computers: Microsoft Office/Outlook/Teams and online systems

- Friendly, approachable and comfortable working with warehouse and office employees

- Experience with Rippling or another HRIS is a plus

- Interest in growing a career in Human Resources
