Job Description
Infinite Insurance - Insurance Broker:
Build long-term client relationships with warm referrals, not cold calls.
Location: Melbourne, VIC (Cremorne) No on-site parking available.
Office is conveniently located directly opposite East Richmond Train Station with excellent access to public transport.
Type: Full-time, permanent
Flexibility: After the initial training period, 3–4 days WFH per week (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm)
Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 base + super + commission

The Role
Reporting directly to our Chief Insurance Officer, you’ll be responsible for delivering tailored insurance advice to existing Infinity Group clients, primarily SME and commercial.
Rather than chasing cold leads, you’ll work with warm, pre-qualified referrals from our existing ~5,500 clients – ensuring their insurance aligns with their broader financial and wealth strategies.
As part of the foundation team, you’ll help shape how Infinite Insurance operates, scales, and supports clients nationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and manage the insurance needs of existing Infinity Group clients, including renewals, endorsements, policy reviews and recommendations.
- Conduct thorough risk reviews, identify protection gaps and provide tailored, compliant advice aligned to each client’s financial strategy.
- Prepare and present quotes, comparisons and policy recommendations, including negotiating terms and premiums with insurers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through warm internal referrals and better support existing Infinity clients.
- Work collaboratively with administration, broker support and claims teams to deliver strong client outcomes, including support through complex claims.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation while contributing to scalable processes as the division grows.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (mandatory)
- 3–5 years’ experience in commercial or SME & broking
- Strong knowledge of General Insurance products
- AR background desirable
- Strong understanding of insurer markets and underwriting
- Experience using brokerage management Systems
