Job Description
Position Summary:
This position provides the leadership and vision to develop a world-class manufacturing environment that is safe, efficient and focused on continuous improvement initiatives. Duties include: driving improvements to meet/exceed expectations in the areas of safety, machine efficiency, machine run time, preventative maintenance, cost objectives, and employee development and retention in alignment with company and business unit established procedures and objectives.
The purpose and function of the Maintenance Manager position is to direct and lead the activities of the maintenance department. The maintenance department is directly responsible for both preventive and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing machinery, associated subsystem equipment, and facilities.
Essential Functions:
Corporate:

- Maintains plant equipment in good working order with the timely completion of repairs if failures occur. Assure adequate spare/repair parts to maintain equipment.
- Generates and understand performance reports.
- Institutes and maintains preventative and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize maintenance costs and downtime.
- Works toward the elimination of all production downtime related to equipment operation
- Complies with all environmental regulations
- Control and report Maintenance KPI report, including tracking trend with root cause analysis and countermeasure.
- Monitor plant utilities and trend, including analysis and countermeasure with improvements.
- Drive fast response to root cause analysis.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical demands also at times may include safely handling multiple, continuous parts flow in and out of manufacturing operations work areas which require pushing and pulling of carts. Work environment is climate controlled in most areas.

8 - 10 years job related experience required

- Position may require domestic or international travel.

- Tier-1 Automotive experience preferred
