Job Description
MD Turbines, Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Stockroom Clerk to support our growing aviation operation. This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and organization of our stockroom by receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking aircraft parts, hardware, consumables, and shop supplies.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of inventory accuracy in the aviation industry.
This is an onsite position. We are seeking local candidates who are available for immediate hire.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Accurately label, store, and organize aircraft parts, materials, and supplies.
Issue parts and materials to technicians and other departments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
Monitor inventory levels and notify the Purchasing Department when stock needs replenishment.
Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the company's ERP or inventory management system.
Ensure proper handling and storage of aircraft components in accordance with company procedures and aviation standards.
Verify part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and shelf-life requirements when applicable.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom.
Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities as needed.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, inventory, or shipping and receiving role preferred.
Aviation, aerospace, or aircraft parts experience is preferred but not required.
Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or ERP systems are preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to accurately count and maintain inventory records.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, or walk for extended periods.
Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
