Job Description
Job Title: Manager, Facility Services
Full-Time Position
Position Overview: The Manager, Facility Services is primarily responsible for managing operational, support, and customer service activities related to Appearance, Facilities Maintenance, Baggage Handling System (BHS), and Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) for Terminal 4. This role works closely with Asset Management’s senior and functional managers, and requires initiative, sound judgment, operational excellence, customer service, and leadership.
Reports To: Senior Manager, Appearance
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $83,000 - $97,000
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Day-to-day oversight of building appearance, building maintenance, BHS, and PBB operations and activities
• Coordinate facility operations, maintenance, and project activities with other departments, stakeholders, and business partners
• Monitors performance of janitorial services, building maintenance, baggage services, and BHS-PBB maintenance subcontractors, and ensures service delivery requirements
• Responds to incidents and coordinates with stakeholders, business partners and vendors to ensure corrective actions are taken by responsible parties, including property damage, fire alarms, sewer backups, electrical interruptions, active leaks, and general facility-related complaints
• Conducts trend analysis on incidents, work management, quality, and customer service, and drive continuous improvement activities derived from analyses
• Performs routine inspections of facilities and subcontractor services, including but not limited to facility safety systems, safe work methods, work quality, customer services, and labor management
• Participates in strategic planning exercises, including life cycle planning, asset protection assessments, innovation research, and environmental and sustainability programs
• Prepares requests for proposals for modifications, continuous improvement, and out-of-scope services
• Develops, improves, tests. and executes operational contingencies and communications plans
• Participates in training and workshops to understand business and functional requirements
• Performs other tasks as required by the department head
• Participates in snow operations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience in Aviation industry
• Experience in Facility and Asset Management preferred
Special Requirements
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances required to work at an airport.
• Valid Driver’s License
