This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a TPA Claims Account Manager based in the United States.
This role is a key client-facing position at the intersection of claims management, insurance operations, and strategic account leadership. You will oversee complex claims programs across auto liability, general liability, and workers’ compensation, ensuring high-quality service delivery through Third-Party Administrators (TPAs). Acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal claims teams, you will translate claims data into actionable insights that improve outcomes and reduce risk exposure. The role involves leading stewardship meetings, presenting performance trends, and guiding clients through claims lifecycle performance. You will also support onboarding, renewals, and ongoing program optimization to ensure operational excellence. This is a high-impact position where strong analytical ability, communication skills, and claims expertise directly influence client satisfaction and business performance.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned client accounts, managing engagement from onboarding through renewal and ongoing service delivery.
- Lead client meetings, claims reviews, and stewardship sessions, presenting claims performance insights, trends, and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor TPA and claims handling performance to ensure compliance with service standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with adjusters, supervisors, and internal stakeholders to resolve escalations and improve claims outcomes.
- Analyze claims data including frequency, severity, lag time, and cost trends to identify opportunities for cost containment and program optimization.
- Support implementation of new client programs, ensuring smooth transition of claims handling processes and reporting structures.
- Assist with contract discussions, renewals, and financial reconciliation related to claims costs and overall program performance.
- Contribute to sales and finalist presentations by showcasing claims expertise and demonstrating service value.
- 3–7+ years of experience in a Third-Party Administrator (TPA), insurance carrier, or claims management environment.
- Strong experience handling auto liability, general liability, and/or workers’ compensation claims.
- Proven background in client-facing, consultative, or account management roles within insurance or claims services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as AIC, CPCU, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong understanding of claims lifecycle management, coverage interpretation, and TPA service models.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex claims data and present clear insights.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with confidence in client-facing discussions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with claims or CRM systems.
