Data Services Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Services Specialist based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of client services, data operations, and technical support within a fast-growing SaaS environment serving global financial institutions. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth delivery of data reconciliation projects and reliable broker data connections. The position combines hands-on data work with client communication, requiring both technical precision and strong interpersonal skills. You’ll collaborate closely with internal operations teams and external financial data providers to troubleshoot issues, improve data flows, and maintain high-quality datasets. This is a highly detail-oriented role where accuracy, responsiveness, and ownership directly impact client satisfaction and operational success. It also offers exposure to complex financial data environments and opportunities to contribute to process improvements and special projects. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and service-driven.

Accountabilities

This role is responsible for supporting client-facing data reconciliation initiatives, maintaining data integrity, and enabling reliable broker data connectivity across systems. You will act as a bridge between clients, brokers, and internal operations teams to ensure accurate, timely, and seamless data delivery.

  • Collaborating with brokers and internal data operations teams to establish, troubleshoot, and maintain data feed connections for clients.
  • Communicating directly with clients regarding the status, progress, and resolution of data reconciliation projects.
  • Managing inbound client requests and onboarding-related queries through Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Preparing, validating, and organizing large datasets to support client reporting and reconciliation needs.
  • Identifying and resolving data discrepancies while ensuring timely and accurate corrections.
  • Supporting client demonstrations of services and identifying potential opportunities for expanded engagement.
  • Contributing to operational improvements, process enhancements, and ad-hoc special projects as needed.
Requirements

This role requires strong analytical ability, exceptional attention to detail, and comfort working in client-facing, data-intensive environments. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general business software tools.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry, validation, and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-service mindset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold strict data integrity and security standards.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies effectively.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Power BI, or Power Query is a plus.
