Position Overview:
In this role, you will perform critical electrical and general maintenance duties to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness across our facility. You will be a key player in minimizing downtime, responding to urgent breakdowns, and supporting the overall policies, goals, and operational objectives of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Read and interpret wiring diagrams and ladder logic to identify issues and determine material or replacement parts needs.
- System Installation & Assembly: Create, wire, install, and troubleshoot electrical control systems, including motors, starters, push-button stations, valve controls, and safety switches.
- Conduit & Circuitry: Handle conduit and control circuit installations, wiring, motor controls, signal wiring, and general plant circuitry.
- Breakdown Response: Respond promptly, calmly, and appropriately to plant emergencies and equipment breakdown situations to minimize production impact.
- Collaboration: Clearly communicate with peers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure priority jobs are completed safely and on time.
- General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance duties and other tasks as assigned by management to keep the facility running at peak performance.
What You Bring:
- Certification: Valid Red Seal Trades Certification (Electrician) is required.
- Technical Experience: Strong experience in industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatics.
- PLC Knowledge: Experience with PLCs is considered a strong asset, though not strictly required.
- Skills: Exceptional decision-making, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities under minimal supervision.
- Communication: Strong oral and written English communication skills.
- Safety & Work Ethic: A proven safety record, strong work ethic, and a demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work nights and weekends if required, and open to overtime based on production demands.
