DUTIES

The successful candidate will teach APRN 1110, Foundations of Land Code Governance in the First Nation Applied Lands Governance Program. Courses are delivered in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online students, and follows an intensive day-long format. Classes will be taught from the Kamloops campus of Thompson Rivers University.

Course details are as follows:
In class dates: Sept 14 – 18, 2026
Assignments due: Oct 4, 2026
Grades due: Oct 16, 2026

Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and be prepared to deliver classes at the Kamloops campus of Thompson Rivers University.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • An applicable Master's degree (required); a PhD is preferred
  • Community teaching, research and/or service associations with Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc or other Indigenous communities in Canada (required)
  • Documented experience in First-Nations land and/or resource issues (required)
  • Relevant post-secondary teaching experience with evidence of strong teaching skills is preferred

$2,575.50 - $2,575.50 ( Sessional Faculty - Academic (per credit) )
