Vice President Real Estate Development

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of real estate growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the identification, evaluation, acquisition, and development of new real estate opportunities.
  • Direct all phases of development projects, including planning, entitlements, design coordination, budgeting, construction oversight, and project delivery.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, consultants, contractors, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
  • Evaluate market trends, financial performance, and investment opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, risk management plans, and performance metrics.
  • Provide executive leadership to development teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high-performance execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support broader business growth objectives.
  • Perform additional leadership responsibilities and strategic initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive leadership experience in real estate development, portfolio expansion, construction, or related disciplines.
  • Proven track record managing complex development projects from acquisition through completion.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and project underwriting.
  • Deep understanding of real estate markets, site selection, entitlement processes, zoning regulations, and development economics.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and business development capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing long-term strategy and operational execution.
