Summer Camp Coach (Seasonal) Brooklyn, NY
Looking for a fun, active summer job working with kids?
Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring energetic Summer Camp Coaches and Camp Counselors for our youth baseball and softball camps in Brooklyn. This is a paid seasonal position working with campers ages 413 in a positive, team-focused environment.
Whether you're a college student, student-athlete, teacher, coach, education major, recent graduate, or someone who enjoys working with children, this is a great opportunity to spend your summer outdoors while building leadership and coaching experience.
No professional coaching experience is requiredwe provide the training, curriculum, and equipment.
Summer Camp Schedule (Brooklyn)Available camp weeks:
- July 1317
- July 2024
- July 2731
- August 1721 (Required)
- August 24-28
- Coach and mentor campers ages 413
- Lead baseball and softball drills, games, and skill-building activities
- Help create a safe, positive, and energetic camp environment
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and personal growth
- Work alongside experienced coaches and camp leadership
- Assist with daily camp operations and camper supervision

Previous experience working with children through camps, coaching, tutoring, childcare, recreation, or youth programs is a plus but not required.
Position DetailsLocation: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: MondayFriday, approximately 8-hour shifts
Pay: $17.00$23.00 per hour, depending on experience
