The HR Analyst will support human resources operations by helping develop processes, improve organizational practices, and strengthen collaboration between HR and internal teams. This volunteer role requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
- Partner with HR leadership to support day-to-day human resources operations and initiatives.
- Help develop, document, and implement effective HR processes and workflows.
- Serve as a communication link between the HR function and other teams across the organization.
- Support HR-related planning, coordination, and organizational improvement activities.
- Assist with maintaining organized HR information and ensuring processes are followed consistently.
- Provide recommendations and support to improve employee and volunteer experiences.
- Collaborate with team members in a remote environment while managing priorities independently.
- Commit approximately 3–5 flexible hours per week for a minimum six-month engagement.
The ideal candidate has foundational HR experience, strong organizational skills, and a desire to use their expertise to support a purpose-driven organization.
- 1+ year of broad Human Resources experience, including exposure to HR operations.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a virtual HR team.
- Resourceful mindset with the ability to identify solutions and improve processes.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to team goals.
- Genuine interest in supporting initiatives focused on expanding educational and career opportunities.
- Willingness to contribute time and expertise in a volunteer capacity.
