This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Enablement Account Manager - SoCal based in United States.

This role focuses on helping independent insurance agencies grow by improving their knowledge, engagement, and production across available insurance solutions.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to assigned agencies, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to increase business performance.
The position combines account management, sales enablement, training, and strategic partnership development within the property and casualty insurance space.
You will collaborate with agents to understand their needs, provide tailored guidance, and help them maximize available carrier relationships and products.

Accountabilities:

The Enablement Account Manager will be responsible for strengthening agency relationships, improving agent performance, and supporting business growth through training, insights, and strategic guidance. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, sharing best practices, and helping agencies succeed.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned independent agencies, building trusted relationships and supporting their growth objectives.
  • Conduct individual and group training sessions to improve agent understanding of insurance products, carrier markets, processes, and sales opportunities.
  • Drive agency production growth by identifying opportunities, increasing product knowledge, and supporting effective selling strategies.
  • Achieve and exceed established sales and performance targets through relationship management and data-driven approaches.
  • Analyze agency performance data to uncover growth opportunities and recommend actions to improve results.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of carrier markets, product offerings, commission structures, and appointment requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop scalable enablement strategies and improve agent experiences.
  • Gather feedback from training sessions and agency interactions to help enhance tools, processes, and resources.
  • Evaluate agency qualifications for appointments and provide recommendations based on business needs.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced insurance professional with strong relationship-building skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to independently manage a portfolio of agency partners. They should combine industry expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of property and casualty (P&C) insurance experience, including experience working with independent agents.
  • Experience training, coaching, or developing agency teams and insurance professionals.
  • Strong understanding of personal lines and commercial lines P&C products.
  • Ability to analyze agency needs, recommend solutions, and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience delivering presentations to individuals and groups.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently in a remote environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership without extensive supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused and collaborative approach.
  • Active P&C insurance license required; additional designations such as CPCU or CIC are preferred.
