Office Supervisor

Position Summary:

Oversees numerous office functions, including but not limited to clerical work, word processing, data maintenance, report filing, and telecommunications response.

Responsibilities:


  • Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with established corporate standards and reviewing and evaluating the work and performance of subordinates

  • Has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of group

  • Performs a variety of tasks

  • Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

  • Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned


Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:


  • Associate’s degree required

  • Minimum 3 years' related experience required

  • Previous management experience preferred


Working Conditions:


  • Must be able to maintain a sitting position

  • Typical equipment used in an office job

  • Repetitive movements
