Etching Technician- 2nd Shift in Waukesha, Wisconsin at Gorilla Mill

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Etching Technician. This role is responsible for laser etching part and lot numbers onto manufactured tools and coordinating the outsourcing of tools for coating through purchase order creation and vendor communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laser etching equipment to mark part and lot numbers on tools according to production specifications.
• Ensure accuracy and legibility of etched markings to meet quality standards.
• Create and manage purchase orders for sending tools for external coating processes.
• Coordinate with external vendors to schedule and track coating services.
• Maintain accurate records of etched tools and coated tool shipments.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure timely processing and delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on etching equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
