Cardiology Cath Lab Specialist/RN in Tampa, Florida at Meta Care Inc

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support cardiology procedures and patient care within a busy outpatient clinic setting. This role focuses on pre‑ and post‑procedure care for diagnostic and interventional cardiology patients, including those scheduled for cardiac catheterizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing assessment, education, and care coordination for patients undergoing cardiology procedures.
• Prepare patients for outpatient cath lab–related diagnostics (e.g., stress tests, cardiac imaging, pre‑op evaluations).
• Monitor vitals, manage IV access, administer medications, and ensure patient safety.
• Support clinicians during minor cardiac procedures and assist with recovery and discharge processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license.
• 2+ years of cardiology, cath lab, critical care, or telemetry experience preferred.
• Strong assessment skills; ACLS and BLS required.
• Excellent communication and patient‑education abilities.
