This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Professional Services and Sales Support Specialist based in Canada.

This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and sales enablement within the production printing industry.
You’ll support Print on Demand solutions through demonstrations, training, troubleshooting, and print-quality optimization.
Working closely with sales, service, and technical teams, you’ll help customers and dealers get maximum value from their equipment and workflows.
The position offers a balance of field-based customer interaction and office-based technical support, depending on business needs.
You’ll also contribute to consulting projects, solution launches, and initiatives focused on colour management and profiling.
Your expertise will directly support customer success, strengthen first-level technical capabilities, and help advance sales opportunities.
This is an ideal opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys solving problems, sharing knowledge, and working closely with customers.

Accountabilities:
  • Demonstrate production printing system capabilities to customers, dealers, sales teams, and service personnel, tailoring presentations to customer needs and sales objectives.
  • Provide advanced technical support for escalated software, print-quality, colour consistency, and production equipment issues.
  • Optimize print quality and colour consistency across production Print on Demand systems and support limited colour management and profiling initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, plans, documentation, and support tools for customers, dealers, sales teams, and service personnel.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and technical teams to support solution launches, customer engagements, and the progression of sales opportunities.
  • Train customers and dealers on effective equipment operation and workflow practices to maximize productivity and solution value.
  • Coordinate consulting projects, including hardware and software purchasing, installation, implementation, and end-user training.
  • Maintain demo room equipment and ensure systems remain operational, properly configured, and colour-accurate across platforms.
  • Strengthen first-level support capabilities by developing technical guidance, training resources, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between sales and technical service teams to improve customer support and operational effectiveness.
  • Promote industry hardware and software standards while staying informed about emerging technologies, market developments, and industry trends.
  • Participate in relevant industry groups and professional activities to maintain current technical and business knowledge.
  • Adjust the balance between customer-facing field activities and office-based support according to business priorities and customer needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role within the production toner or production printing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of colour management, with experience using tools such as ColorGATE and Caldera considered valuable.
  • Fiery Cut Sheet Professional and Expert certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving production Print on Demand devices, software, and workflows.
  • Experience developing and delivering effective training programs and support materials for technical teams, customers, and dealers.
  • Proven customer demonstration experience, with the ability to adapt presentations to different audiences and clearly communicate product capabilities and value.
  • Good IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office, Windows, IT networking, and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-focused and diplomatic approach, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, service, technical, and customer-facing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities, with a practical approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required to support customers, dealers, demonstrations, training, and consulting activities.
  • French and English bilingual communication skills are a strong asset.
Benefits
  • Base salary: $80,000–$97,000 CAD annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Performance bonus: Eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus under the corporate performance bonus plan.
  • Health coverage: Comprehensive extended health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Retirement: Defined contribution pension plan.
  • Paid time off: Paid vacation, personal days, and sick days.
  • Wellness: Programs designed to support employees’ overall health and well-being.
  • Work environment: Flexible and supportive culture focused on employee satisfaction, collaboration, and professional success.
  • Career development: Opportunities to deepen expertise in production printing, colour management, customer training, technical support, and sales enablement.
  • Customer and industry exposure: Direct interaction with customers, dealers, sales teams, and technical professionals across the production printing ecosystem.
