Call Center Operator in Kansas, Ohio at Center for Counseling & Consultation

Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical activities such as greeting the public, scheduling appointments, routing incoming calls, copying, and other routine tasks necessary to the operation of the center. This individual will be expected to work accurately, handle routine efficiently, and be able to maintain confidentiality.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct incoming calls in a professional manner developing a line of questioning to properly direct or answer an inquiry and take messages or transfer to voice mail system
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments using Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
• Print next day schedule and make reminder calls daily
• Provide information about open access and other methods to access services to callers
• Open new charts, assign chart numbers and complete first contact entry
• Take messages – for med staff, clinicians, prescription requests,
• Respond to emergency situations and crisis calls as necessary
• When necessary, collect client information necessary for billing
• Accept payments made by phone for services rendered from clients and document properly using EHR • Data entry as required
• Additional duties related to agency front office functions

Required Qualifications/Desired Qualifications

• Background void of issues related to abuse or neglect
• 2 year degree in office/secretarial technology
• Valid Kansas driver’s license with favorable record
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
• Minimum of 6 months front office experience, public relations, or related customer/client experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
