This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive / Account Executive (Market Research) based in India.
This is an opportunity to join a global healthcare market research environment supporting strategic client relationships and revenue growth.
You will work closely with Sales and Account leadership to manage opportunities from RFP qualification through proposal development and commercial execution.
The role combines pre-sales, account management, pricing, and client engagement, giving you broad exposure to the market research lifecycle.
You will help identify opportunities for incremental revenue through effective upselling, relationship building, and expectation management.
The position also involves collaborating with Client Services and internal teams to support successful project delivery.
Success requires strong commercial judgment, excellent communication, and a customer-centric approach.
This is a remote role in India, with working hours aligned to the US Eastern Time Zone.
- Qualify incoming RFPs, assess project feasibility using internal tools, develop proposals, and establish effective pricing strategies for client bids.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bids, opportunities, and commercial activity within the company’s CRM system.
- Partner with Account Directors and Sales Directors to strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities for incremental revenue, upselling, and account growth.
- Support client expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle, helping ensure alignment between commercial commitments and project execution.
- Collaborate with Client Services teams by providing relevant project information, partner details, and other support needed during delivery.
- Assist with client presentations, sales meetings, proposals, and other commercial activities as directed by Sales and Account leadership.
- Contribute to a high-quality, compliant client experience by following applicable ISO 20252:2019 and ISO 27001 standards.
- Act as a customer-focused commercial partner, helping translate client needs into appropriate research solutions and maintaining strong relationships throughout the engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in pre-sales, proposal management, account management, or related commercial roles within the market research industry.
- Strong understanding of market research services and the ability to communicate solutions effectively to clients.
- Demonstrated experience managing RFPs, preparing proposals, developing pricing, and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with US-based clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for preparing proposals, analyses, presentations, and client materials.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand client needs, manage expectations, and build trusted relationships.
- Previous customer service or client-facing experience is a plus.
- Strong organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Must be available to work US shift hours aligned with the EST time zone.
