Who we're looking for
We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team-oriented culture and is committed to exceptional client service. The ideal candidate takes ownership of outcomes with minimal supervision, stays engaged with market trends and economic conditions, and understands how they translate into thoughtful portfolio action. This person is highly organized, able to manage multiple accounts, strategies, and asset classes, and brings a proactive problem-solving mindset that helps anticipate issues before they become client-facing. Just as important, they contribute to a friendly, supportive, and collaborative team environment.

Handle client-specific needs such as selling concentrated stock positions, tax-loss harvesting, hedging, options strategies, and 10b5-1 plans.
- Liaison between broker-dealer, custodian, and counterparty relationships, overseeing best-execution practices, transaction cost analysis, and trading venue selection, and maintaining the trading technology stack (e.g., Black Diamond, iRebal).
- Monitor market conditions, liquidity, and volatility to inform trade timing and sizing, and maintain and enforce trading policies, procedures, and controls in line with firm policy and applicable regulatory requirements
- Own portfolio analytics and reporting for public market holdings, including performance attribution, exposure and risk analysis, and benchmark comparisons, for both trading decisions and investment committee reporting.
- Cross-train the Senior Associate (Backup Trading & Private Markets) on trading execution for coverage purposes, partner with client-facing advisors on account-specific trading and liquidity needs and contribute to the evaluation and selection of investment products and hedging instruments used in public market strategies.

- Working knowledge of portfolio accounting and rebalancing platforms (Black Diamond and/or iRebal strongly preferred), custodial trading interfaces (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing), and portfolio analytics (performance attribution, exposure/risk analysis, benchmark reporting).
- The ability to meaningfully contribute to problem solving
- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
