ServiceNow Developer (FSP) in Sterling, Virginia at Insight Xcite

Insight Xcite is recruiting for distinct ServiceNow development requirements in Chantilly, Herndon, and Sterling. Candidates will be evaluated against the specific track; the same experience threshold and certification requirements do not apply to every opening.

This requirement develops and maintains ServiceNow applications, workflows, catalog items, record producers, portals, notifications, reports, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and ACLs. Required experience includes ServiceNow/JavaScript, Agile development and Jira; familiarity with MySQL, PHP, Windows server installation/configuration, web APIs, and incorporating information-security policies into requirements. Core working hours are 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Required: strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS; ServiceNow development or advanced software/low-code development with aptitude to develop ServiceNow skills; Flow Designer, catalog items and business rules; business-process analysis and improvement; technical requirements; project/task management; IT lifecycle/change/release management; and knowledge-management artifacts. Hands-on ServiceNow experience of 4+ years and certifications are preferred. This is a technical development and process-improvement role.

Required: at least 16 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, including at least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow product development; substantial JavaScript development; strong ServiceNow platform/module knowledge; Oracle or MySQL database administration; reliable development/test/production practices; and estimating, documenting, delivering, and supporting platform changes. CSA is preferred, with progress toward CSA expected while on task. IT project management, Agile/DevOps and additional programming experience are preferred.
