As a Dining Services Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming dining experience while supporting the health and well-being of our residents. Whether you're preparing meals, assisting with service, or helping maintain a clean and safe environment, your work will make a difference.

What You'll DoCreate Great Dining Experiences
  • Assist with meal preparation, setup, and service for residents.
  • Serve meals with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Prepare and assemble foods for regular and modified diets.
  • Assist with salads, baked goods, and other menu items.
  • Support cooks and dining leaders with meal preparation activities.
Keep Things Running Smoothly
  • Clear tables and meal trays following service.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items as needed.
  • Return clean dishes, utensils, and food service equipment to designated storage areas.
  • Stock food and supplies and pull ingredients for meal preparation.
  • Assist with inventory organization and rotation.
Maintain a Safe & Clean Environment
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, polish, and remove trash as needed.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Identify food quality concerns, including signs of spoilage or contamination.
  • Complete required documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
