Accountabilities:
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Managers in a player/coach capacity, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, empowerment, and consistent performance.
  • Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan for the Greater Toronto Area to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Personally contribute to territory growth by developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting complex sales cycles from prospecting through close.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through relationships with enterprise prospects, customers, technology partners, and channel organizations.
  • Develop new customer relationships and expand revenue across cloud networking, data center, campus networking, Wi-Fi, AI networking, network monitoring, network detection and response, endpoint security, and network identity solutions.
  • Recruit, develop, retain, and strengthen sales talent through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Build relationships with senior executives and multiple stakeholders within complex enterprise accounts, positioning innovative networking solutions around strategic business needs.
  • Partner with technical resources, professional services, marketing, and executive teams to align solutions and resources with customer objectives.
  • Participate in the planning, execution, and measurement of regional marketing programs to support pipeline development and revenue growth.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, proactively address challenges, and escalate issues when necessary to ensure strong customer outcomes.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing activities with broader organizational teams and maintain alignment with regional and corporate priorities.
  • Manage personal priorities, schedules, and commitments effectively while balancing strategic leadership responsibilities with hands-on sales execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 12+ years of sales experience in high technology, preferably within networking, routers, switches, cloud infrastructure, or related enterprise technology markets.
  • Proven experience managing, leading, and developing high-performing sales teams, ideally in a senior sales leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated and consistent history of exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong track record of developing new business and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from lead generation through deal closure.
  • Significant experience selling networking solutions into large enterprise organizations and familiarity with data center, campus, cloud, and network infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network routers, switches, software-driven networking platforms, and related enterprise solutions.
  • Demonstrated success engaging C-level executives and navigating multi-level enterprise sales processes.
  • Established relationships and market knowledge within the Greater Toronto Area, particularly across enterprise networking and data center technology ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of competitive products, solutions, services, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution while remaining personally engaged in customer and revenue development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire teams, navigate challenges with resilience, and maintain a positive, results-oriented approach.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and commitment to achieving results.
  • Candidates must reside in the Greater Toronto Area and have a proven track record of successfully selling networking solutions within the local market.
Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Wellbeing benefits and programs.
  • Income protection benefits.
  • Group Retirement Savings Plan.
  • Opportunity to lead and develop an experienced regional sales organization.
  • Exposure to innovative networking technologies spanning data center, campus, cloud, Wi-Fi, AI networking, security, and network monitoring.
