Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Apprentice Millwright will work across a variety of projects and teams, supporting new installations, maintenance, repairs, and mechanical upgrades in industrial environments throughout the Lower Mainland. Key responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Apprentice Millwright will work across a variety of projects and teams, supporting new installations, maintenance, repairs, and mechanical upgrades in industrial environments throughout the Lower Mainland. Key responsibilities include:
- Travel to industrial customer sites across the Lower Mainland;Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, including pumps, fans, ovens, and conveyors;Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to support safe and accurate work;Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and install mechanical equipment;Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and follow established safety procedures and regulations;Complete required job documentation, paperwork, and daily FLRAs;Work collaboratively with Journeyperson Millwrights and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Successful completion of Level 2 - Millwright Apprenticeship;
- Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear;
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and has reliable transportation; Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, food and beverage, or recycling facilities is considered an asset;Experience working for a mechanical contractor is considered an asset.
- Wage: $28.00-38.00 per hour
- Please note - the listed hourly rate is dependent on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
