Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Corporate Operations Lead based in Spain.
As a Corporate Operations Lead, you will tackle the highest-impact operational constraints limiting a rapidly scaling global organization.
You will take complex, cross-functional challenges from initial discovery through implementation, measurable outcomes, and sustainable ownership.
The role spans diverse areas such as HR, Finance, Engineering capacity, regional operations, and regulated business processes.
You will diagnose root causes, design practical solutions, and build the processes, automation, governance, or infrastructure needed to remove bottlenecks.
Working closely with senior leaders and specialist teams, you will influence priorities and mobilize resources without relying on direct authority.
Your success will be measured by the lasting operational leverage you create and the organization’s ability to scale more efficiently.
This is a high-autonomy builder-operator role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, learns quickly, and is motivated by solving meaningful business problems.
- Own prioritized operational constraints from initial discovery and diagnosis through implementation, measurable outcomes, and establishment of durable long-term ownership.
- Work across a broad range of business domains, including HR, Finance, Engineering capacity, regional operating models, and regulated or brokerage-related operations when these represent key constraints to growth.
- Apply a Sense → Design → Build → Drive approach: establish what is happening, identify root causes, redesign inefficient systems, implement solutions, and drive adoption until measurable results are achieved.
- Determine the most effective lever for each problem, whether that involves workflow redesign, automation, organizational changes, improved decision-making, vendor changes, hiring, or technology solutions.
- Collaborate directly with functional leaders and their teams to mobilize resources, align priorities, address capacity constraints, and drive adoption without taking over their recurring operational responsibilities.
- Establish baselines and contribute to company-wide deep dives into velocity, capacity, friction, and operational performance.
- Use quantitative analysis and before-and-after measurement to demonstrate the impact of initiatives and validate that improvements are sustainable.
- Surface trade-offs, risks, and capacity constraints clearly, escalating to senior leadership when priorities or scope require additional direction.
- Identify opportunities to create scalable operating models that enable the organization to support continued growth without proportionally increasing headcount.
- Move efficiently from one high-value constraint to the next once a solution is implemented, adopted, and sustainably owned.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience, including demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional operational initiatives from diagnosis through implementation and measurable outcomes.
- Proven track record as a builder-operator who can take ambiguous, high-stakes problems from limited context to practical, lasting solutions rather than simply delivering recommendations.
- Strong systems-thinking ability, with the capacity to quickly understand unfamiliar domains, map workflows and decision structures, identify bottlenecks, and diagnose root causes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority, mobilizing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders while driving adoption across teams that do not report directly to you.
- Excellent prioritization and judgment, with the ability to distinguish symptoms from root causes, focus on high-value opportunities, and challenge assumptions using evidence.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience establishing metrics, assessing performance, and measuring the impact of operational improvements.
- High ownership and execution discipline, with a track record of staying accountable through implementation, adoption, and lasting change.
- Experience in internal product, strategy and operations, business operations, operational transformation, or similar environments is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of AI and automation as tools for improving operational leverage is a plus.
- FinTech, brokerage, or regulated financial services experience is helpful, particularly when working on operational constraints in these environments.
- Additional strengths in systems or product building, executive orchestration, or quantitative capacity analysis are valued.
- Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and adapting quickly as priorities evolve.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
- Competitive salary package aligned with experience and role scope.
- Stock options as part of the overall compensation package.
- Health benefits.
- One-time USD $500 home-office setup allowance for new hires.
- USD $150 monthly stipend provided through a Brex Card.
- Opportunity to work in a globally distributed environment with colleagues across multiple countries and time zones.
- High degree of autonomy and ownership over high-impact, company-wide initiatives.
- Exposure to diverse business functions, enabling significant professional development and broad strategic experience.
- Opportunity to work with a fast-growing financial technology organization focused on building scalable infrastructure and operational models.
- Inclusive environment built around curiosity, empathy, accountability, and continuous learning.
